David D. Bulkley, Founder and first President of the Gallups Island Radio Association, received the Marconi Gold Medal of Achievement for preserving the traditions of maritime radio in World War 2. David holds amateur callsign KY1O. David Bulkley

 

Ray Minichiello Ray Minichiello, Founder of the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation and the U.S. National Marconi Museum received the Marconi Gold Medal of Achievement for his contributions to preserving the history of wireless communication.  Ray holds amateur callsign W1BC.

 

John Chooljian, received the Marconi Gold Medal of Achievement for preserving the traditions of maritime radio in World War 2 in the restoration of LST 325 and aiding its return to the United States from Crete.  John holds amateur callsign K2KRF. John Chooljian

 

Douglas Stivison Douglas S. Stivison received the David Kintzer Memorial Plaque  for his service to the VWOA. In 1998 he also received the DeForest Audion Award.
